Therefore, we process your data exclusively in compliance with the statutory provisions (GDPR, Telecommunications Act 2003). The following information on data protection explains the most important aspects of data processing in relation with the website of LEO Components AG.
I. Getting in touch with us
When contacting us by using the designated form on our website (request for sending a catalogue, contact form, call-back service) or by e-mail, the data you submit will be stored in order to process your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
II. Data storage
We advise you that the subscriber’s IP data will be stored by means of cookies in order to simplify the shopping procedure and to ensure subsequent implementation of contract. In this case, we only collect access data without direct personal reference. These data will be evaluated exclusively for the purpose of improving our services and do not provide any information about your private details. No data will be transferred to third parties.
For the purpose of implementing the contract, the following additional information will be automatically stored when you register and place an order in our online shop in order to fulfil and process that order: title, first name, family name, company name, address, date of birth, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, website, fiscal number. The provided details are required for the performance of the contract and/or of measures prior to the entering into the contract. Without these details, we will not be able to enter into a contract (processing an order) with you.
No data will be transferred to third parties, except to the transport/forwarding company entrusted with your delivery (DHL Express Austria GmbH, Liechtensteinische Post AG, Österreichische Post AG), for the transmission of credit card details to the bank/payment service provider responsible for the payment transaction in order to debit the products’ purchase price (Sofort GmbH, PostFinance AG) as well as to our tax adviser or auditor in order to enable us to fulfil our accounting and fiscal obligations (retention obligation). LEO Components AG verifies if these recipients provide an adequate level of protection of personal data.
III. Cookies
Our website uses so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device by the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to ensure that our website design is user-friendly. Some cookies will remain stored on your device until deleted by you. They enable us to recognise your browser when you revisit our website.

IV. Web analysis
Our website uses functionalities of the web analysis service Google Analytics.
Analytics uses cookies which enable an analysis of your use of the website. Statistical analysis (Google Conversion Tracking) includes the browser type, browser language, browser version as well as the operating system. The information about your use of the website generated by the cookie will be transmitted to a server of the provider, stored there and automatically deleted after 180 days.You have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by changing the corresponding settings on your browser. Our objective is to optimise our services as well as the usability of our website. As we attach great importance to our users' privacy, the user data (user IP address) are collected but immediately pseudonymised/anonymised (for example by deleting the last 8 bits).
V. Newsletter
Our website provides the option to subscribe for our newsletter. For your subscription, we need your e-mail address and your confirmation that you would like to receive our newsletter.
E-mails sent to our newsletter subscribers include information on products, events (trade fairs). In order to enable us to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process details provided voluntarily, such as information on your areas of interest, your birthday and the postal code. You may at any time have the option to unsubscribe from our newsletter. In order to unsubscribe, you can either use your online user account (newsletter subscriptions) or unsubscribe directly in a newsletter by clicking “Unsubscribe newsletter” in the footer or by sending an e-mail to office@leoag.net. The service provider charged dispatch e-mail messages are Mailchimp, Mandrill and Google. LEO Components AG verifies if these recipients provide an adequate level of protection of personal data.
VI. Data security
We are making every effort to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or deletion. Your personal data shall only be made available to those employees who necessarily require access to the same in order to be able to perform their activities properly and to offer you our products and services in the best possible manner. We do not disclose any personal information without your express consent unless we are legally required to do so.
You have the right to require, at any time following the termination of contract, the deletion of the personal data and settings relating to your person. Please note that with any data deletion, these data are first blocked and only definitely deleted after a certain period of time in order to prevent accidental deletion or intentional damage. For technical reasons, data may be duplicated in data backup files and in copy of services (Hetzner Online GmbH). Such copies shall, where necessary, also be deleted after a certain time delay due to technical reasons.

Basically, you have the right to request information, free of charge, on your personal data, as well as the right to correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, and revocation or objection of processing of your personal data stored by us.
